Development Assistant - Foundation

SUMMARY: Under general supervision, performs duties that support the pre-event, on-site and post-event assistance for third-party, major, and Guild events, and CMNH and cause marketing activities for Valley Children's Healthcare Foundation. Tasks include, but not limited to, data entry; administrative support to Foundation staff; direct contact with donors, corporate partners, and patient ambassadors; research of donors and prospects using The Raiser's Edge database and other development software services; creation and distribution of event invitations and other mailings; ordering event-related supplies; event and cause marketing campaign support, including check-in of guests at events, handling guest reservations, event record keeping, event trend research, and event logistics; creation of meeting agendas and other tasks to support Foundation meetings and meetings of the Guilds Coordinating Council; and other tasks as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS: This position requires a high school diploma with a Bachelor's Degree in business administration, marketing, communications, or related discipline preferred. Candidate must have a valid California Driver's License with an acceptable DMV record as well as car insurance with minimum limits as required by state law. A minimum of one (1) year of event or customer service experience required.

POSITION DETAILS: Full time 80 hours per pay period, day shift with some evening events.

LOCATION: Madera, CA
